The Navy Band Harp/Flute Duo was formed in 1978. The duo performs for official functions such as White House receptions and dinners, State and Defense Department events, and social activities sponsored by the Chief of Naval Operations.
The Harp/Flute Duo, featuring Chief Musician Emily J. Dickson, harp and Chief Musician Christina L. Bayes, flute, performs clinics and recitals for local elementary school students and childhood development centers. In addition, they also perform for special events such as the Navy Submarine Warfare Ball and the Navy Nurses' Birthday reception.
