Upon returning to the United States, he performed with the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra from 1982 until 2008, and worked on the staff of the Peabody Institute.

He is also the support staff chief in charge, overseeing 18 full-time staff members, and the band's command managed equal opportunity manager. In his free time, he enjoys photography and honing his skills in Photoshop.
