Mutatis Quartet is a recently founded saxophone quartet from California. Its members are students at California State University Long Beach. Earning degrees in music, their individual concentrations vary across performance, education and composition. Unifying their education, each member has studied the saxophone under James Barrera at CSULB.

Dennis Feinland studies saxophone performance and music education. He has benefited many K-12 music programs and runs his own private studio in Southern California.

Matt Miller has established himself as a relevant composer, having premiered his most recent work at the 2017 North American Saxophone Alliance Region 2 Conference in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Zach Taburaza began his musical career in Union City, California. Adding to his studies in saxophone performance, he studies music composition with Adriana Verdie.

Colin Ward is leaving an impactful legacy in marching band music within Southern California. His academic pursuits mostly focus on music composition.
