Biography


The Emerald Saxophone Quartet was established in 2012 to be Marshall University's premiere saxophone ensemble. Members have performed at the Music Teacher's National Association competition. In 2016, they were selected as the state representatives for West Virginia and were allowed to perform for the regional competition held in New Jersey. They have also performed at many functions representing Marshall University, such as the opneing of the new Visual Arts Center, the Marshall Uniceristy International Festival and the Navy Band International Saxophone Symposium in 2015. The members of the Emerald Saxophone Quartet are all students of W. Ed Bingham and coached by Brian Walden.
