Biography


Chase Remsburg is a senior music education major at Shepherd University. He is the principal player for the wind ensemble, soprano in the quartet, and lead alto in the jazz ensemble. After graduation, he wishes to teach and get his master’s degree in music education and conducting. Jordan Shifflett is a junior eusic Education major at Shepherd University. She has played alto saxophone in the quartet, wind ensemble and jazz ensemble for three years and wishes to pursue a teaching career once she graduates. Kyle Colliflower is a sophomore music education major at Shepherd University. He was the principal player of the Maryland All-State Concert Band in 2016 and has had the pleasure of playing with many famous jazz musicians throughout his career. He plans to pursue teaching upon graduation. William Singley is a fourth-year biology major from Frederick, Maryland. He has played baritone saxophone in several different ensembles. After college, he hopes to work at a scientific institute.
