Nathan Mensink recently soloed under the baton of legendary conductor Colonel Arnald Gabriel. He was also recently featured as a soloist on John William's “Escapades,” Ibert’s “Concertino Da Camera” and Martino’s “Gershwin Fantasy.” He has appeared at events such as the World Saxophone Congress, the U.S. Navy Band International Saxophone Symposium, the College Music Society Conference and the Frontwave New Music Festival. Notable venues include Carnegie Hall in New York, Cite De La Musique Et De La Danse in Strasbourg, France, the Walt Disney Theater in Orlando, the New World Center in Miami Beach and the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami. Mensink has performed with the New World Symphony Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica, the Miami Symphony Orchestra, the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra, and more. Mensink holds doctoral and master’s degrees from the University of Miami and a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University.
