Meet the Musician

Musician 1st Class Kyle E. Huron,

Petty Officer 1st Class Kyle Huron, born and raised in Baytown, Texas, joined the Navy Band in 2013 as a tuba instrumentalist in the Concert/Ceremonial Band. He earned his Bachelor of Music from Tennessee Technological University in 2007 and a Master of Music from Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in 2009. Prior to his appointment to the Navy Band, Kyle was an Air Force musician with the Band of Flight, stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. His primary teachers include R. Winston Morris, Anthony Kniffen and Timothy Northcut.

Huron is a member of the tuba/euphonium quartet and often substitutes with the Navy Band Brass Quintet and Quartet. In his free time he enjoys running, cooking and spending time with his family.
