Senior Chief Musician Greta L. Loggins,
Career Information Program Manager
Senior Chief Musician Greta Loggins, born in Manchester, England and raised in Gilbert, Ariz., joined the Navy Band in 2000. She earned a Bachelor of Music in education from Arizona State University, magna cum laude, in 1998 and a Master of Music in clarinet performance from Indiana University in 2000. Loggins has also partially completed a Doctorate in Musical Arts from The Catholic University of America. Her teachers include Robert Spring, Howard Klug, and Steve Barta. She has participated in the Domaine Forget Music Festival in Quebec, Canada, and performed with the Camerata Orchestra, the McLean Orchestra, and the Fairfax Symphony. She performs frequently on the Navy Band Chamber Recital Series as a member of a clarinet quartet.
Loggins holds the position of command PASS coordinator, in which she assists members with their pay and allowances. She spends her free time gardening and trying out new recipes.
